If you want to become a successful blogger then your blog posts need to be SEO (Search Engine Optimization) optimized. Now it is not only about writing skills it is all about a plethora of other things along with it. Like you have to put extra effort to make your post's SEO friendly. This blog will guide you through the process of how to add keywords and meta tags to your blogger posts. In terms of search engine ranking meta tags plays a vital role. For ranking search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing, and Yandex use your post title and post meta description. Thus, it is undoubtedly important to use relevant keywords in your blog title and meta description for getting good search results. 

How can you add those?

It can be done by enabling tags on your Blogspot blog. Is it as simple as that? No, you need to do some things more. The process starts with logging into your blogger account. I am considering you have a description of your blog in the settings, after logging in to your account you should find the settings button and scroll down to

and enable Seach description like above. What it will do, it will enable a search description menu at your blog post. After that do not forget to click on the search description and put some keyword according to your blogging description. Now you did the very initial work of the many. After that, you should find a good meta tag generator like Website(mybloggertrics.com) where you find a tool like below there you have to put your descriptions and keyword and click on generate meta tags.

then you need to go to theme and go to the HTML view of your blog and add this meta tag to your HTML code after <head> tag. and that is it you have added meta tag to your post.

Believe me, this is important for boosting your post in search engine ranking. posts without meta description usually rank low in search results. It is the answer to those who wrote a good blog but still not finding his post on the first few pages of google ranking. As stated earlier, this is the extra effort you need to put into popularising your post. Though I am relatively older in terms of blog post, recently during this pandemic I am keen to upgrade my blogging skills to a new level. 

Now it is time for post meta description/search description?

We have already enabled it, but you should know about it clearly. Actually, post meta description/search description helps search engines to know your posts in a better way. The title of the post and search descriptions helps search engines to decide your ranking on search results. It helps search engine to know about your articles and in return, you got a better rank.

As you already enabled it from the settings now you can add search description to your blog post while posting. You can add up to 150 words in the search description. Focused keywords and compelling post meta description should be added. Note: Do not add more than 150 words to your search description because search engines show only 150 words under the post title.

Now we are done. One thing to remind is that, now you can also add post meta description to your previous posts as well.

Fuel consumption of Toyota prius phv 2014 for the month of June 2019 in Dhaka Bangladesh. Total electricity consumption was 72 kW as per car computer. Which cost me at a rate of 9.3 taka/ kw bpdb residential rate. Total cost of charging is 72x9.3 = 669.6 taka. In this 670 taka total km run by the car is 396 km. So per km cost is 1.69 taka per km. So savings from electricity is, average of hybrid cars in Dhaka is around 15 km/l, which costs 5.93 taka/km at 89 taka octane rate. It means for this 396 km my phv saved 1680.36 taka in 25 days.  So in a year it will save 20,164 taka. Total run by the car 01.07.19  is 901 km. For which I spend 3400 taka fuel and 670 taka electricity. So average fuel cost per km is 4.52 taka/km.  In that case fuel saving comes in comperison with hybrid is 1272.93 taka. As per car computer fuel saved 22.8l. It saved 2029.2 taka.
